Jeremiah Johnson - COO/Farm Foreman
Jeremiah Johnson is a fifth-generation farmer, agricultural leader, Advanced EMT, and public servant with a professional background spanning production agriculture, agricultural mechanics, emergency medical services, and local government.
Raised on his family’s dairy and cattle ranch along the Wyoming-Colorado border, Jeremiah developed an early aptitude for mechanics, logical problem-solving, and hands-on innovation. Those skills led to a successful career as a dealership technician before he joined Jessen Wheat Company in 2007. Since then, he has taken on an increasingly significant leadership role within the operation, combining his mechanical and technical background with extensive experience in modern production agriculture and farm management.
Jeremiah is actively involved in agricultural leadership across Wyoming. He serves as Vice President of the Wyoming Wheat Growers Association and is a graduate of Wyoming LEAD Class 16, a statewide agricultural leadership development program.
His commitment to public service extends well beyond agriculture. Jeremiah serves as Mayor Pro Tempore of Albin, Wyoming, and as President of the Eastern Laramie County Landfill Association Board.
A dual-state licensed Advanced EMT in Wyoming and Nebraska, Jeremiah has extensive involvement in rural emergency medical services. He serves as Administrator and Training Officer for Albin EMS and as an ex officio member of the Albin EMS Board. He also serves as Vice President of the Southeast Wyoming Healthcare Coalition, contributing to regional healthcare preparedness, emergency response coordination, and collaboration among healthcare and public-safety partners.
Jeremiah’s diverse background brings together agriculture, mechanical expertise, emergency medicine, organizational leadership, and local government. Whether working in the field, leading an EMS organization, representing Wyoming agriculture, or serving his community, his career has been centered on practical problem-solving, leadership, and service to rural Wyoming.

Armando Leal - Lead Heavy Equipment Operator
Armando was born in Cheyenne and spent his younger years in Colorado before making Wyoming his permanent home. He has worked for Jessen Wheat Company for 10 years and enjoys that each day brings something different.
When not farming Armando loves spending time with his son Luis and they enjoy relaxing and fishing together. Fishing is what Armando truly enjoys doing in his free time and when not fishing or relaxing, Armando is farming. He really likes farming and appreciates the equipment and its ability to make the job easier. He loves working for Jessen Wheat Co, and looks forward to his future with us.

Coleman McNulty - Elevator Manager
Cole has worked for Jessen Wheat Company for 5 years and manages the Lindbergh Grain Elevator. Cole is originally from Hot Springs, South Dakota, where he met his beautiful wife, who gave him three wonderful children.
Other than working at Jessen Wheat Company, Cole enjoys bowling, golf, hunting, and fishing. Cole has worked in many different jobs and trades in his career, but says Jessen Wheat Company has treated him the best, and he truly feels like an important part of the team.

Ben Mickelson - Heavy Equipment Operator/Shop Foreman
Ben joined the Jessen Wheat Team 5 years ago. He relocated to Wyoming from Nisland, South Dakota, with his wife Bailey. Ben has worked in agriculture since he was old enough to walk on his family's 4th-generation farm. He has farming experience as well as livestock and feedlots and is enjoying taking a step back from livestock to focus on farming.
When Ben and Bailey have free time, they enjoy exploring the Cheyenne area and taking their dog Jo for adventures in the car or on foot.
