Rooted in Legacy, Committed to the Land
Clint Jessen is a fifth-generation farmer who has been stewarding the land on his own since 2000. With the exception of updated equipment, Clint — alongside his wife Ashley, their three children, and a dedicated team — farms organically in much the same way his great-grandfather did over a century ago. Located in the relatively dry climate of eastern Laramie County, Wyoming, the Jessen family uses traditional tillage methods and zero chemicals, proving that sometimes the old ways still work best. Their commitment to regenerative, organic agriculture isn’t just a trend — it’s a way of life built on respect for the land, the soil, and the future. |
Today, Jessen Wheat Company proudly raises
organic wheat, barley, peas, lentils, chickpeas, hay millet, alfalfa, and dry edible beans across the tri-state area of Wyoming, Nebraska, and Colorado. Every crop is grown with a deep respect for the soil and a commitment to sustainable, chemical-free farming practices. In addition to cultivating a diverse range of organic commodities, the Jessens also operate a certified organic & certified regenerative grain elevator. This facility not only expands storage capacity for their own harvests, but also serves neighboring organic farmers by offering clean, certified storage solutions. It’s one more way the Jessens support and strengthen the regenerative ag community they’re proud to be part of. |
