Jeremiah Johnson - Farm Foreman
Jeremiah is a 5th generation farmer with an agricultural mechanic background. He grew up on the Wyoming/Colorado boarder on his families dairy and cattle ranch. He possesses an outstanding mechanical and logical aptitude with a flair of creativity and this combined with his excellent customer service skills lead to a successful career as a dealership technician.
Jeremiah joined Jessen Wheat Company in 2007 and brought these qualities with him, adding many more over the years. He leads our team with a tireless fervor, and strives for perfection in everything he does.
When he's not on the farm, he is busy with his duties as a very involved Albin town councilman. Jeremiah also volunteers for Albin Rescue where he also serves as an ex officio board member.

Blake Lanning - Director of Operations
Blake is a proud Wyoming native. He has one incredible daughter, Kiyellen, who stays very busy with all her high school activities.
He has worked for Jessen Wheat Company for over 17 years! Blake says "Working with Mother Nature can be very difficult and rewarding. Mother Nature is in total control and will show you who is boss when farming in the Semi-Arid High Plains."
When Blake is not farming, he enjoys reading archeological and conspiracy books and hanging out with his daughter Kiyellen.

Armando Leal - Lead Heavy Equipment Operator
Armando was born in Cheyenne and spent his younger years in Colorado before making Wyoming his permanent home. He has worked for Jessen Wheat Company for 8 years and enjoys that each day brings something different.
When not farming Armando likes to relax or go fishing. Fishing is what he truly enjoys doing in his free time but when not fishing or relaxing, Armando is farming. He really likes farming and appreciates the equipment and its ability to make the job easier. He loves working for Jessen Wheat Co, and looks forward to his future with us.

Coleman McNulty - Elevator Manager
Cole has worked for Jessen Wheat Company for 3 years and manages the Lindbergh Grain Elevator. Cole is originally from Hot Springs, South Dakota where he met his beautiful wife who gave him three wonderful children.
Other than working at Jessen Wheat Company, Cole enjoys bowling, golf, hunting and fishing. Cole has worked in many different jobs and trades in his career but says Jessen Wheat Company has treated him the best and he truly feels like an important part of the team.

James Hamilton - Heavy Equipment Operator/Shop Mechanic
James is from Cheyenne, WY where he spent most of his life. He is on his second year as a member of the Jessen Wheat Company team. James is a hard working individual with a willingness to learn new things. He strives when given the opportunity to work on equipment and use his mechanic knowledge.
James graduated from LCCC's Diesel Tech program in 2020 and Jessen Wheat was fortunate that he picked us to begin his career.
When James isn't farming or working on equipment he enjoys working on project trucks and cars and playing video games.

Ben Mickelson - Heavy Equipment Operator
Ben is the newest member of the Jessen Wheat Team. He recently relocated to Wyoming from Nisland, South Dakota with his fiancé Bailey. Ben has worked in agriculture since he was old enough to walk on his families 4th generation farm. He has farming experience as well as livestock and feedlots and is enjoying taking a step back from livestock to focus on farming.
When Ben and Bailey have free time they enjoy exploring the Cheyenne area and taking their dog Jo for adventures in the car or on foot.
